Elizabeth practices in a broad range of commercial law matters, with a focus on engineering and construction, professional liability, insurance and insolvency.  

Prior to coming to the Bar, Elizabeth was a Senior Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright in the construction and engineering group. There she developed particular experience in arbitration (both domestic and international) and the resolution of complex commercial disputes in the energy & resources and infrastructure sectors.

As a solicitor, Elizabeth has acted for clients on projects in Australia and the Middle East, including onshore and offshore oil and gas installations, wind farms, hospitals, major roads, public private partnerships, stadiums and domestic building. She has experience advising clients on related insurance, professional indemnity, trade practices and insolvency matters, and has instructed counsel in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Victorian Court of Appeal and arbitrations in Australia and the UK.

Elizabeth was awarded the Monash University Prize for Jessup Moot and, in addition to a Bachelor of Laws, holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with first class honours from the University of Melbourne.

Elizabeth is reading with Andrew Woods and her senior mentor is Jeffery Gleeson QC.
