Georgia maintains a broad commercial practice, both as sole counsel and as junior.
Georgia regularly appears in state and federal courts and tribunals. She has particular expertise in class actions, having acted for the Victorian State Government in the complex tortious matter of Rowe v Ausnet Electricity Services & Ors, the Murrindindi Bushfire Class Action.

Prior to joining the Bar, Georgia was the Associate to Justice John Dixon in the Supreme Court of Victoria, in the common law division of the court. Georgia also worked as a solicitor at the Melbourne office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King and Wood Mallesons) in the Litigation and Intellectual Property departments.
Georgia holds an LLM from the University of Melbourne, where her studies focused upon equity and commercial law, intellectual property, royal commissions and inquiries and torts. Georgia has been a Tutor at Queen's College in the University of Melbourne and is currently a Lecturer at RMIT, teaching Law & Regulation in the Masters of Communication program.
Georgia is the Honorary Secretary of the Commercial Bar Association of Victoria and the Secretary of the Student Engagement Committee of the Victorian Bar. Georgia is actively involved in providing pro bono assistance to the community as a member of the Duty Barrister Scheme.
Georgia regularly presents CPDs on various topics, below is a selection of Georgia’s recent CPD papers:
- ‘Sanction and Compensation decisions under the Civil Procedure Act 2010’, (2016); and
- ‘The Government’s Duty of Care’, co-authored with Pat Zappia QC, and presented at Legalwise conference for government lawyers and firms (25 November 2015).
Georgia is also a member of the Queensland Bar Association.
